English Vocabulary - Part 1 -

Discount: to offer goods or services at a reduced price.
Bulk: in large quantities: Those who buy in bulk receive a discount.
Refund:  reimburse, to give back or restore money.
Dispatched: to send off or away with speed.
Purchased: to acquire by the payment of money
Warehouse:  a building, or a part of one, for the storage of goods, merchandise, etc.
Bargain: an advantageous purchase, especially one acquired at less than the usual cost.
Cooling off period:  the time when you can change your mind and cancel an order.
Money back guarantee:  a promise to give your money back if you are not happy.
Method of payment:  the way you choose to buy the goods you want.
Interest-free card: when you can pay some time after you buy , but at no extra cost.
Out of stock: when goods you require are not available.
After-sales services: the help you get from a company when you start to use their product.
Enquire:  ask for information about something.
Retail business: the sale of goods to ultimate consumers, usually in small quantities.
High street: The Street in a town where you can find most shops and banks.
Cut throat:  extremely or unfairly competitive.
Dilemma: situation in which you have to make a very difficult choice
Bricks and mortar:  to go to different shops to compare prices and quality before you buy something.
Dual pricing: setting two different prices online and in shops for the same goods.
A margin: the difference between the cost of buying or producing and the price of selling.
To shop about:  Operating in a building, not on the internet.
